Sustain your Energy. Sustain your Impact. Part II

Part 2 – Sustaining ourselves within systems. What changes when we stop looking only at ourselves and widen the lens? We don’t work in isolation. Our energy, motivation and ability to contribute are shaped by the teams, organisations and wider systems we are part of. In this interactive two-hour workshop, we explore the conditions that help people stay engaged and effective – and those that make meaningful work unnecessarily difficult or draining. Through short inputs, reflection, practical exercises and exchange with others, we’ll look at themes such as team culture, psychological safety, workload and expectations, belonging, organisational support and influence. We’ll explore what we can change ourselves, what we might influence together, and what requires change at a more systemic level. What you’ll take away You’ll leave with: • a better understanding of how your environment affects energy, motivation and impact; • insight into conditions that support or undermine sustainable engagement; • a clearer view of where responsibility and influence sit; • ideas for changes and conversations you can take into your own context. Who is this for? For people working towards positive change – including peace and justice, climate and sustainability, humanitarian action, international cooperation and social impact. Come if you’re curious not only about how you can sustain your engagement, but also how we can create environments that make sustained engagement more possible. Part of a two-workshop series This is Part 2 of Sustain your Energy. Sustain your Impact. It can be attended as a standalone workshop – you do not need to have attended Part 1. For the full journey, we recommend joining both workshops. Part 1 – Sustaining yourself focuses on your own energy, patterns, boundaries and agency before Part 2 widens the perspective to our shared environments and systems. 👉 Find Part 1 and register here!
