Through three tea-based savory courses, you'll discover how tea can add aroma, texture, depth, and character to food—often in ways you would never expect. Whether you're a dedicated tea lover or simply curious about new flavors, this workshop offers a fresh perspective on one of the world's oldest beverages. No tea knowledge is required—just bring your appetite and an open mind. Bio of the host: Sherry (@sherrypick_tea) is a globetrotter inspired by the richness of flavours found in every corner of the world. With a natural love for bringing people together, she uses tea as a medium to spark connection and shared moments. She is a certified Tea Sommelier in the Netherlands and an International Seed Instructor of Taiwan’s Tea Research and Extension Center. Along the way, she has worked with various tea companies and curated playful and thoughtful experiences—pairing tea with food, desserts, cheese, flowers, art, music, etc., and continues to explore the worlds of wine and herbology with curiosity. Chef: Cher Ya (@cher.ya.317) Ya is a culinary creative and independent chef based in the Netherlands, interpreting culture, nature, place and personal observations through food and the shared table, drawing on her Chinese heritage and life in Europe.
