Stargate Experience - Phytosonic

An immersive sound performance connecting humans, plants and technology. What if you could experience the world from the perspective of a plant? During TURF Festival, at Saturday 28 NOV, Stargate Experience takes you on a sensory journey where nature, sound and technology merge. With an eye mask on, the visible world fades away. Sounds, vibrations, scents and subtle touches open up a different way of perceiving. From the hidden world beneath the earth to the moment life unfolds towards the light. In this live performance, electronic soundscapes, acoustic instruments and the sounds of living plants intertwine. Sensors translate the plants’ bio-signals into sound. Young participants and artists come together to create a living, evolving soundscape in which you become part of the experience. Who is listening to whom? Where does nature end and technology begin? The interactive Stargate installation can also be explored in the outdoor square ( of De Stilte & Lighthouse ) during TURF Festival in Breda. Inside De Stilte Theatre, it takes on a new dimension as a collective, immersive performance.
