Who Killed the Book Boyfriend? A Murder Mystery Night

Step out of your favourite book and into a murder. A bookish murder mystery for readers of every genre. One victim, many suspects. On Halloween night, the veil between the pages grows thin, and characters from every genre step out of their books for the Midnight Masquerade at Blush & Bound. The guest of honour, the most famous book boyfriend of all time, has just been found dead in the Romance section. The doors are locked. The killer is still in the room. And it might be you. How it works When you arrive you’ll get a sealed character card, from a brooding villain to a fae prince who can’t lie, a final girl, a detective and a vampire with a secret. Over three rounds, clues are revealed (some hidden in books on our shelves), secrets come out and fingers get pointed. At the end, everyone votes on who did it. What’s included • Your own character, with a secret to protect • A “poison potion” (a red mocktail) • Prizes for the best detective and the best performance Good to know • No murder mystery experience needed. Your character card tells you everything. • Romance readers, fantasy fans, thriller lovers and horror girlies all welcome. • Costumes are encouraged but optional.
