Intersex STORIES: Film Screening & Workshop by NNID

A curated selection of short films and a subsequent hands-on workshop by NNID (Expertisecentrum Seksediversiteit). On October 26, the Goethe-Institut Niederlande will host the interdisciplinary event 'Intersex STORIES'. Through a curated selection of short films and a subsequent hands-on workshop by NNID. The screening program includes three fundamental works for understanding bodily diversity and identity: Meisjesjongensmix, a portrait of childhood and growing up; Jordan, which delves into personal lived experiences and bodily autonomy; and Se receta silencio, a documentary piece focused on deconstructing the medical and historical taboos surrounding intersex bodies. Following the screenings, the Dutch organization NNID (Nederlands Netwerk Intersekse/DSD) will facilitate a dynamic workshop. The event will be held entirely in English.
