Albi - POST UK SOLO SHOW

He’s proudly albino, a condition that impacts his eyes, skin and hair but has not slowed him down, and it’s become a large part of his identity. A friendly figure who you’ll spot in a crowd with his district all white beard. He’s not let his vision affect his career and has seen many successes including a Best Folk Artist award at the Aotearoa Music Awards in 2018, performing at WOMAD in 2020, or touring Europe with acts Zarek & Albi and Albi & The Wolves in 2019 and 2026. Albi, or Chris if you meet him off stage, is just a regular fella with a guitar who’s eager to learn your stories and share his own. He’s been sober for 6 and a half years and is looking forward to laying down a solo E.P. later this year. If the opportunity arises to see him play Albi is an uplifting force of joy and music and should not be missed.
