Join artist Sofia Athineou for an exciting and intensive two-and-a-half-day relief glass casting weekend workshop. You’ll get hands-on experience with every stage of the process, moving from initial concept to beautiful finished glasswork. You’ll use clay, wax, plaster, and other materials to sculpt your design, build refractory moulds, and finally, cast your creation in glass. After your pieces are fired, we’ll reconnect for half a day to de-mould, clean, and hand-polish your finished glass art. The date/time of this will be organised with the group during the first two days.
