Each term the Environment Canterbury Youth Rōpū host an Enviro Youth Meet Up for rangatahi (young people) interested in the environment and civics. We have invited an electoral commission youth advisor to attend this event to discuss why elections matter, why we should vote if/when we're old enough to do so, and how to enrol on the voting register. There will be lots of yummy kai, lots of time to connect with like-minded rangatahi, and lots of fun to be had. We hope to see you there!
