Visitors will see three non-competitive and one competitive haka performances featuring schools from Ōtautahi. The event celebrates te ao haka with morning, midday, and afternoon sessions for various age groups.

E hika mā! Whiua tēnei karere ki te ao, whiua ki te rangi, whiua ki ngā iwi katoa! Ka tū tō tātou nei hui ahurei tuatahi hei te 19 o Hepetema! We are excited to invite you all to our first festival for 2026, this will be held on Saturday the 19th of September at the Christchurch Town Hall. Save the date! Purchase a ticket! Join us for a day of celebrating te ao haka! There will be three converts during this day. • 9.00am Ngahau - All ages (non-competitive) • 11.30am Ngahau - All ages (non-competitive) • 2.30pm Junior - Year 3-6 Whakataetae (Competition) Alternatively, you can purchase an ALL-DAY Pass.
