AI For Schools Free Breakfast Workshop

No one knows your kura like you do. Not the tool. Not the consultant. You. Feeling the AI overwhelm? You’re not alone! Join Mihi Tibble and Wiremu Williams for a non-techy breakfast designed to meet you exactly where you are as a kura and help you take your next confident step with AI. Who this is for Principals, teachers, management and administration in primary, kura kaupapa, intermediate, wharekura and secondary kura. The people holding the strategic plan, the reports, the class list , planning and whats happening in the classroom for your students. What we’ll cover: • The four moves we use in every workshop: start with what you know, make it yours, build it live, leave using it • Real mahi from real schools: strategy, board reports, classroom plans and resources, all in the school’s own voice • How to incorporate your local knowledge of whenua, pūrākau and kōrero to hold their shape in working with iwi, hapū , marae and local communities. • Where ai fits in your kura: leadership, kaiako, tamariki, and what’s worth moving on now • Working safely with your school data and in your own practice Mihi Tibble (Ngāti Porou, Te Arawa, Te Whānau-ā-Apanui) has spent five years running AI workshops for schools, NGOs and government, and a decade before that leading strategy, governance and service delivery. She won’t tell you what to do. She builds it with you, on your material, in the room. Expect straight talk, real builds, practical workshops and a method you can repeat with or without her. Nau mai haere mai! Come share kai and kōrero.
