Localise & Lift Your Schools Strategy

About this workshop Turn up with your whakapapa. Elevate what you have. No one knows your kura like you do. Your values, your pūrākau, your community’s voice and the vision your board already holds. We start there. Wayfinding is one day to build a strategy that reflects who you are. You bring your kura’s kōrero, we load it into Claude and ChatGPT so every output whakapapa back to your kura, and you build your strategic framework live, in your own voice. By 4pm it’s drafted and ready for your board. If your strategic plan lives in a binder that comes out once a year for the board, you’re normal. The four moves Whakapapa first. Tools last. Start with your kōrero. Whakapapa it. Build it live. Leave using it. What you walk out with • Your kōrero, named: the stories, data, community voice and board aspirations your kura already holds, set down • A project that knows you: your material loaded into Claude and ChatGPT • A draft strategy, in your own voice, ready for the board • Reporting that’s visible, so what you value is traceable • Who it’s for Tumuaki, principals, senior leaders and board members. Primary, intermediate, secondary, kura kaupapa Māori and wharekura. No technical background needed. Format 9am to 4pm, in person, Capped at 10. Morning tea and lunch provided. Bring a your fully charged laptop, your current strategic plan or charter, your latest ERO report, and any community consultation your kura already holds.
