Tea Ceremony and Sound Journey - Sat 26th

After the tea ceremony and sound journey we will have a light supper, tea creates a special kind of hunger and we will enjoy some Chinese treats. Tea is more than just a beverage —it's a practice and a way of life. We are in love with art and practice of tea, and we are excited to share it with everyone. During the tea ceremony, you can simply relax, enjoy the rituals, and savor the wonderful flavors of tea. This practice also helps us slow down and be more aware of each moment, allowing us to connect with ourselves and appreciate the hidden beauty within every cup of tea. The sound journey will include chimes, rattles, crystal bowls, gongs and drums. 🙌🏻Please be aware: 🏯 The ceremony starts on time, so please aim to arrive 10 minutes early to park and take your spot. We can't accommodate latecomers, unfortunately. The space is set up specifically to foster a sense of ceremony and encourage being fully present. 🏯 Also, we kindly request that you skip the perfumes when you come to share this experience. They can be a bit overpowering and interfere with the enjoyment of tea. LIMITED SPACE TO 6 SOULS The journey starts when you enter the land at Matapihi, driving into the rural area and leaving the urban world behind. You are encouraged to leave your phone in your car and join us in the belle tent under two giant walnut trees. Take some time to still yourself and ground in the morning before the ceremony. If possible begin your silence from when you wake. Have a light breakfast but do eat something. We look forward to holding space for you.
