August Location: Mt Dury on the grass August Event Update Due To Weather: Our August event is still on at this stage - see you there! The Sound Garden is a free community gathering at various locations around Mount Maunganui and Papamoa — a welcoming morning by nature with live sound performance, Māori ancient medicine, and a nature bath experience. We’ll share a live sound performance using acoustic healing instruments, surrounded by the natural soundscape of the bay — waves moving gently, birds in the distance, fresh morning air, and the calm rhythm of nature around us. We’ll also be sharing traditional Māori medicinal herbs, bringing their grounding and restorative presence through aroma, energy, and connection to the land. This experience is really about stepping away from the noise for a little while — the overstimulation, the constant thinking, the pressure to always be “on.” You’re invited to simply listen, rest, and receive. Please bring whatever helps you feel comfortable: • Camping chair • Yoga mat or something to lie on • Blanket or warm layers • Water bottle • Comfortable clothing You don’t need any experience with meditation, breathwork, or sound healing.
