FUTUNA LECTURE SERIES 2026 The Futuna Lecture Series commenced in 2011 and has been one of the main annual events on the NZ Architectural calendar for the last 14 years. It is the Futuna Chapel Trust’s major fundraiser each year and attracts a large audience of architects, architectural designers, technicians, architecture and design students and interested members of the public. The Trust exists solely on koha/donations as well as financial support from selected sponsors and donors. This year documentary maker Catherine Hunter and Sydney architect Nick Sissons share their experiences working with Glenn Murcutt, Australia's eminent architect and Pritzker Prize Winner in 2002. In July this year Glenn celebrated his 90th birthday and 70 years of architectural practice. In those 7 decades Glenn has produced a body of work unparalleled anywhere in the world. All of his work has been in Australia.
