Half/Angel Live at Barrel Brothers

Te Whanganui-a-Tara's Half/Angel will play the Newtown Barrel Brothers on November 20th to round off 2026. Joined by Wear Pounamu, Venus Mae, and Jjoyce, three must see Wellington acts, this is not a show to miss out on. Half/Angel are one of the most exciting acts emerging from Te Whanganui-a-Tara right now. Toeing the lines of alt-rock, psychedelia, and indie, Half/Angel juxtapose intimate, soft vocals and delicate instrumental passages with explosive high-energy passages. Joined by JJoyce: Wellington Band, Est. 2025. JJoyce are an alternative/experimental rock band whose enigmatic presence keeps their audience on their toes. The JJoyce live experience is always an action packed and captivating time worth every dollar. Venus Mae: 'I’m venus mae and I make music from Wellington New Zealand. Make yourself at home' Ethereal, self produced folktronica artist Venus Mae is one of Wellington's hidden indie gems. This will be her second live appearance to date. Venus Mae's second EP, 'Apple Of MY Eye' is out now. And Wear Pounamu Half/Angel are incredibly excited to announce our first headline show of 2026. If you've been waiting to see us play this year, this is the show. Come and join us for a night of community, friends, and music.
