In a world where truth is slippery and stories travel faster than facts, how do we know what’s real? Acclaimed writers take the stage to share tales that are either true or completely made up. As each story unfolds, the audience must separate fact from fiction before the final reveal. Hosted by Jo Randerson (Secret Art Powers) with Joseph Trinidad (Lucky Creatures), Una Cruickshank (The Chthonic Cycle), Nick Ascroft (It's What He Would've Wanted), Kiri Lightfoot (Te Ngahere I Te Ra: The Forest By Day) and Jem Yoshioka (Folk Remedy). This venue is wheelchair accessible. This event is part of VerbCrawl, a one-night-only, high-energy literary festival, that takes over the streets of central Pōneke.
