Ivanhelio, a key force in Madeira’s electronic scene, joins Amëriko Nunez for a night of immersive Progressive House, Techno and House. The Purple Fridays Friday September 25th 2026 19h00 - 23h30 Doors close at 21:00 Ivanhelio has been actively shaping and supporting the island’s electronic scene for over a decade. From his years behind the decks and his time running the influential Living Room microclub to his Norte&Sul project, which brought electronic music to unique locations across Madeira, his work has consistently helped expand the island’s electronic music landscape. His sound moves between Progressive House, Techno and deeper, atmospheric territories. Joining him is Portuguese DJ and producer Amëriko Nunez, bringing his energetic, genre-fluid approach to House and Techno, His productions and remixes reveal a strong musical identity, blending hypnotic grooves, atmospheric textures and powerful electronic rhythms. In 2009, he moved to the United Kingdom, where his musical experience expanded significantly. During his time there, he was invited to host a show on online radio stations and also represented the now-defunct Russian Dollz record label, of which he was a member. Returning to Madeira in 2015, Hélio was invited to perform at some of the island’s leading electronic music venues. In 2017, he became the owner of the microclub Living Room, a project he left at the end of 2021. In 2018, he launched a new project, Norte&Sul, created to bring electronic music to unique and unexpected locations across Madeira Island. Exploring the deeper and more progressive side of Progressive House, the concept aims to provide a “soundtrack to nature”, creating a connection between music, landscape and the surrounding environment. In 2019, Ivanhelio introduced his alter ego, Lo.quaz, exploring darker and more techno-oriented sounds. He began performing alongside Portuguese artist Robert S and organized several events connected to Robert’s labels, Trau-Ma and Robert LTD.
