Fado Night: Live Music & A Glass of Wine

That’s when the evening begins. In an intimate house nestled between Baixa and Chiado, you’re welcomed into a historic room, bare stone, low light, a silence heavy with anticipation. There is wine, there is author cuisine, there is conversation. Then, without warning, the guitar begins. The voice follows. Nobody speaks. For about 50 minutes, you’ll witness a live, fully acoustic performance — no microphones, no speakers led by two Fado voices, Portuguese guitar, and viola de Fado. In a setting intimate and close to the artists, you’ll feel the emotion, tradition, and stories of this unique expression of Portuguese culture, accompanied by a glass of Quinta do Gradil wine.
