Paint Your Way In: An Acrylic Creative Experience

Lisbon doesn’t need another Drink & Draw. This is a creative experience that brings together the lightness and spontaneity of a Drink & Draw with playful exercises and simple painting techniques made to unlock your creativity. A blank canvas can be intimidating when you don’t know where to begin. That’s why we’ll work through a few creative exercises to get you moving, experimenting and finding your own way into the canvas. We’ll take inspiration from a selection of objects and floral arrangements, using them as references throughout the experience. Having something to look at, observe and play with makes it easier to get started when you have a blank canvas staring back at you. Along the way, you’ll also get a sneak peek at the fundamentals of acrylic painting, colour theory and composition, including how to work with paint on canvas.
