Venture For Change Portugal

A Learning Summit for students in Grades 7–12 who want to solve social and environmental challenges — and get funded to do it! Venture For Change Portugal Venture For Change is a learning program and summit for student teams from Grades 7–12 interested in finding entrepreneurial solutions to social and environmental challenges. Students form a team of 2–6, develop and pitch a social venture idea, and have a chance to receive startup funding and incubation support. Initiated by the Qi Social Innovation Center and the Columbia Organization of Rising Entrepreneurs, VFC has run in China since 2023 and expanded across Asia in 2026 — and is now coming to Portugal! The summit will be held from 4:30-7pm on Friday Nov 20th and 9am-6:30pm on Nov 21st. Student teams will be inspired by social entrepreneur speakers, will take part in workshops to help refine their social enterprise business plans/pitch, and will have mentor support and guidance during studio time. Parents are welcome to come for the pitch festival and final awards from 4-6:30pm on Saturday, November 21st. The Venture For Change registration fee is 75 euros per student or 60 euros per student if you register by October 9th. This fee includes snacks and lunch for students while at the Summit, and helps cover some of the operational costs of the Summit.
