Celebrate International Repair Day with UNIQLO and learn some cool knit repair techniques to help keep your UNIQLO knits last longer! Repair Before You Replace Join us at UNIQLO Gothenburg on International Repair Day, Saturday 17 October 2026, for a hands-on repair workshop led by local designer and repair specialist Sara Sundin. As part of RE.UNIQLO Studio, this workshop celebrates the value of caring for and extending the life of our clothes through simple repair techniques and craftsmanship. Together, we will explore practical methods to repair and refresh knitwear, helping your favourite garments stay in use for longer. During the workshop, Sara will demonstrate and guide participants through techniques such as: • Visible mending • Darning • Sashiko-inspired repair • Invisible knitwear repairs • Basic garment care and maintenance tips Participants are encouraged to bring one UNIQLO knitwear item in need of repair. (If you don't have any, we will provide :)) Whether it is a small hole, snag, worn area or damage that has kept you from wearing a favourite piece, we will help you give it a second life.
