This full-day class shifts focus beyond birth, preparing you for the transition into early parenthood, physical recovery, and feeding your baby with confidence. You want to cross the finish line of birth in your best possible form — because what comes next requires even more of you.WHAT YOU WILL LEARN• Skin-to-skin after birth — what your baby experiences in those first hours, and why this time matters more than most families realise• Postpartum recovery — what the mother’s body and mind go through after birth, and how to support genuine healing• Breastfeeding — everything you need to know to give yourself the best chance of feeding successfully, from latch to supply to navigating challenges• Your baby’s 24-hour world — understanding newborn sleep and wake states, feeding patterns, and what ‘normal’ actually looks like• Baby care essentials — cord care, diapering, bathing, and babywearing: the practical skills that make the first weeks feel manageable• Surviving (and thriving in) the first few weeks — realistic preparation for the most demanding and most transformative season of early parenthoodWHAT'S INCLUDED• Full-day in-person class taught by Ginny Phang-Davey• Morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea — catered by Kai Singapore.
