Stanmore wildlife walk and sound bath

Join us for a countryside walk and Infinite Sound Medicine, sound bath with Marcus Joseph. This is an easy 6-mile, circular walk and Infinite Sound Medicine, sound bath with Marcus Joseph. The trail will take us through Stanmore Common, a 122-acre public local nature reserve, and Stanmore Country Park, a 76 acre ancient woodland, open meadow and nature reserve. *Sound Bath with Marcus Joseph – Infinite Sound Medicine* Marcus Joseph is a jazz musician, composer, spoken word artist and sound practitioner, bringing together music, mindfulness and therapeutic sound through his practice, Infinite Sound Medicine. Our route takes us alongside mature woodlands, rare flora and a variety of wildlife. We'll then take a 45 minute pause, for an immersive sound bath before enjoying a gentle mindful lunch. As part of the walk, Marcus will guide guests through a deeply relaxing sound bath experience using crystal singing bowls and other therapeutic instruments. The session is designed to offer a moment to slow down, reconnect with the body, and simply listen after spending time immersed in nature. No previous experience is needed, guests can simply get comfortable, close their eyes and allow the sound and vibration to wash over them. Meeting/end Point: will be confirmed in the booking email Duration: The event will last approximately 5 hours, including breaks. Terrain: The route takes us along some surfaced and rocky paths, grasslands and wooden footbridges. What to bring: Plenty of drinking water, sturdy and comfortable waterproof footwear with good grip, rain coat, additional layers, yoga mat/waterproof seat to sit on for the sound bath meditation and lunch. Important notes: • This hike is suitable for ages 18+.
