An experiential community circle exploring the hidden family and systemic patterns that may be shaping your life today. Join us for an evening of Family Constellations, exploration, and community in the beautiful temple at Śaranam Center for Healing & Transformation in Greenville, NY. Sometimes the patterns we're struggling with didn't begin with us. We may find ourselves repeating the same relationship dynamics, carrying emotions or burdens that don't fully make sense, or feeling stuck despite years of personal growth and self-reflection. Family Constellations offers a different perspective. Rather than looking only at the individual, this work explores the larger family and relational systems we belong to, and the ways experiences, losses, loyalties, and unresolved dynamics may continue to influence us across generations. Because we're born into our family systems, it can be difficult to recognize the patterns we're living within. Family Constellations gives us an opportunity to make what may be happening beneath the surface more visible. It can help you see something you couldn't see before, understand how it may be affecting you now, and begin to relate to it differently. What We'll Explore During this 2½-hour Community Circle, I'll introduce the practice of Family Constellations and guide us into experiential constellation work together. Depending on the group and what emerges, our evening may include personal constellations, smaller systemic exercises, representation, witnessing, reflection, and integration. You may have the opportunity to explore something from your own life, be invited to represent in someone else's constellation, or simply witness the work unfold. There's something uniquely powerful about exploring this work in community. We can learn through our own explorations, but also through witnessing and participating in someone else's. Sometimes another person's constellation unexpectedly illuminates something in our own story. You don't need to receive your own constellation to have a meaningful experience. You Might Come With... Family Constellations can be used to explore many different areas of life, including: • Repeating patterns in relationships or family • Something you feel stuck in despite having worked on it before • Family or ancestral dynamics • Belonging and your place within a family or system • Life transitions and questions of direction • Work, creativity, money, or purpose • Something you can't quite explain but sense may have deeper roots You also don't need to arrive with a clearly defined "problem." You may simply be curious about yourself, your family system, or something in your life you'd like to understand more deeply. Family Constellations offers a way to look beneath the surface and explore some of the deeper roots of what may be shaping your experience today. Who This Is For This Community Circle is for cycle breakers, those who feel a quiet or urgent call to explore what has been passed down, shift old patterns, and live with more freedom, clarity, and authenticity. You may feel drawn to this work if there's something important in your life that you're ready to look at more deeply. Maybe you've talked about it, analyzed it, or worked on it in other ways, but still sense there's something underneath it you haven't quite reached. Family Constellations offers a different way of exploring, one that allows us to look beyond the individual and consider the larger family and systemic dynamics we belong to. You don't have to arrive with a major issue to work on, or even know exactly why you're drawn to Family Constellations. You may simply be curious about your family system, interested in understanding yourself more deeply, or feel called to experience this work in community. No previous experience with Family Constellations is needed, and you don't need to know your full family history. Simply bring your curiosity and an openness to explore. Other Ways to Work Together Part of my intention with these Community Circles is to create more opportunities to experience Family Constellations here in the Hudson Valley and to build a local community around this work. Again and again, I've watched people experience Constellations for the first time and come back wanting to explore more. There's also something uniquely powerful about gathering regularly. We learn through exploring our own systems, but also through representing, witnessing, and participating in one another's work. I'd love to create spaces where we can gather regularly throughout the Hudson Valley, build relationships around this work, and deepen into it together. Family Constellations is an experiential process that helps make the unseen visible. Rather than looking only at the individual, this work explores the larger family and relational systems we belong to and the ways experiences, losses, loyalties, and unresolved dynamics can continue to influence us across generations. Because we're born into our family systems, it can be difficult to recognize the patterns we're living within. People often explore this work around repeating relationship patterns, family dynamics, belonging, inherited burdens, life transitions, business or career questions, and places where something deeper still feels unresolved. You don't need to arrive with a clearly defined "problem." You may simply be curious about yourself, your family system, or something in your life that you'd like to understand more deeply. How does it work? A Constellation typically begins with a brief conversation between the facilitator and the person receiving the constellation about something they would like to explore. This might be a repeating relationship pattern, a family dynamic, a life or career question, a feeling of being stuck, or something they're struggling with and want to explore at a deeper level. Once the facilitator has gathered enough information to begin, the facilitator asks the client to choose representatives for the family members or entities that are relevant to the situation. The representatives are placed intuitively in the space, creating a kind of living, three-dimensional map of the system. From the start, externalizing what was previously held internally can allow the situation to be seen from a new angle. Relationships, distances, loyalties, tensions, or patterns that weren't as visible before may begin to emerge. Why was one family member placed so far away from another? Why are two representatives turned away from each other? What becomes visible when we can actually see the system in front of us? As the constellation progresses, new information, stories, relationships, and dynamics may come to light that weren't apparent at the beginning. The facilitator works with what emerges, guiding the representatives, bringing in additional representatives when needed, exploring different movements and healing sentences within the system.
