Autumn Japanese vegetable cooking workshop

Make simmered kabocha, a delicious winter squash, and a seasonal green vegetable stir fry in a relaxed setting with a community farm chef! At 5:30 pm, cook simple, nourishing, seasonal dishes with me, community farm chef Kori Kanayama, based on a regenerative farm in nearby Grass Lake. Workshops are casually organized for immersive learning, appropriate for individuals, families, couples, and friends. At 6:30-45 pm, we will relax over a communal meal with the food we made. We will cook in a large, spotless kitchen and eat in a bright dining area at the Triple Crane Retreat Center in Chelsea, MI. Please reserve through this event listing.
