Chaos Hour: Improv Comedy at The Highwire Center

No AI, no script, no second takes. Highwire Improv presents real performers building the entire show live, from your suggestions. Tonight's lineup is: Hannah & Kyle Try Their Best: Two friends who studied journalism learn that the fast-paced world of reporting wasn't what it was cracked up to be. So come watch as they figure out what's next and try their best at whatever life, and the audience, throws at them! Chronic Pain: Joking is a normal reaction to life past thirty. When that moment passes, you usually stop laughing. But for some people, the laughter continues long after the bit is done. When it lasts for a full longform set or more, it's called Chronic Pain. That's us, Chronic Pain, an improv team out of Baltimore. Instead of letting it bring us down, we bring it to the stage. We met as students at the Baltimore Improv Group and the only known cure is to see us perform. What is an improv show, exactly? Improv is live theater created spontaneously by the performers with the inspiration of the audience. Unless noted otherwise, it’s a comedy show, made even more exciting, intriguing, and hilarious by the fact that none of it is pre-scripted! At an improv show you’ll see a wide range of creative and fascinating humans perform a highwire act by making comedy out of thin air! It can take many forms, including short competitive games, slice of life scenes, and full length sitcom or movie style performances! A Highwire Improv show is truly a once in a lifetime performance, never done before and never to be done again!
