Fungal bioprinting (adult course for ages 18 and up)

Get creative with 3D printing using fungi in this hands-on class for adults! Fungal bioprinting (adult course for ages 18 and up) Join us for a hands-on course all about fungal bioprinting. In collaboration with the FunGuyLab (FunguyLab), you'll get to explore how we can shape living materials through bioprinting techniques. This is a great chance to dive into the science of fungi and see how they’re being used beyond the usual mushroom stuff. Perfect for ages 18 and up, this event gives you a chance to get creative with biology and technology combined. We'll build a bioprinter and explore different living substrates such as fungi (mycelium) and slime molds. Come learn how to bring these cool materials to life in new forms! Note: this class meets on both Oct 10th and Oct 17th from 9AM-noon with different material on each day. Your ticket covers both days. BUGSS wants to be available and accessible to all who are interested, so scholarships are available for all courses. Please reach out to us at [email protected] if a scholarship would help you to be able to attend.
