Mahjong Guided Play at Plain & Posh - Westmont

Practice & Play Mahjong with tableside coaching in this beautiful interior design showroom. Prerequisite: Beginner/Mahjong 101 Lesson. Already know the basics but not quite ready to play on your own? Guided/Open Play is the perfect bridge between learning and confident gameplay. This session is not a beginner class — instead, you’ll play real games at your own pace, with friendly, tableside coaching whenever you need it. Instructors circulate throughout the room to answer questions, help with the basics, the Charleston sequences, and interpreting the Mahjong card. You’ll grow your skills naturally, while actually playing — and you’ll do it in a relaxed, supportive, and social environment alongside other players at similar stages of learning. ✨ Perfect for you if: • You’ve taken a beginner class and want more practice • You know the basic flow but still have “Is this Mahjong?” moments • You like learning at the table rather than watching a lesson • You’d love coaching but also want real gameplay This is where confidence grows, friendships form, and Mahjong clicks. All Mahjong sets provided. Please bring your NMJL card; we'll have a few available to borrow and for purchase as well. Plain & Posh is a Houzz Award Winning Interior Design Firm.
