Join Austin Classical Movement Institute in their first ever performance of The Nutcracker: Short & Suite! Picture this- Clara's creative spirit and her love for a classic holiday celebration have collided, resulting in the opening of the most whimsical bake shop in town! Her friends are her most loyal customers, each bringing a new idea to life as they plan out their holiday sweets menu. Clara simply never misses, each friend leaves feeling more excited for their confectionary creation than the last. It's nearly time to close up shop when a most hurried friend swings in. Clara whips up one final magical idea, and they wish each other well as she turns the key to the shop. After her busiest day yet, she finally connects with the hours of work that await her inside... Will she finish in time? Who will be there to help? Join us on December 20th at the Cherrywood Center for this playful, family-friendly performance of The Nutcracker: Short & Suite.
