Catholic Lawyers Guild of Nassau County - 2026 Red Mass

Tuesday, October 6, 2026, Mass at St. Joseph's Church, Reception Dinner and Awards Ceremonies at Chaminade Activity-Athletic Center. The Catholic Lawyers Guild of Nassau County was founded in 1958 to help serve the spiritual needs of the lawyers and judges of Nassau County and to foster fellowship amongst them. For more than 60 years, the Guild has sought to achieve its goals by sponsoring spiritual, educational and social gatherings, including Mass at the Bar Association, Third Friday Adoration, continuing legal education seminars and annual retreats. Our signature and most widely attended celebration is the annual Red Mass and Dinner Reception. This year, the 2026 Red Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. at the Church of St. Joseph in Garden City. The dinner reception will follow immediately after Mass at Chaminade High School’s Activities-Athletic Center. We encourage all of our friends and family to attend this beautiful event. This year, the Guild is proudly honoring The Honorable Lisa A. Cairo, Justice of the New York State Supreme Court, Nassau County, and Mark J. Brosnan, Esq., Principal of Brosnan & Associates, LLP, with the St. Thomas More Award. William E. Vita, partner at Shook Hardy & Bacon L.L.P., and his wife, Eileen will receive the Denis Dillon Apparitor Fidelis Award. Please email any questions to [email protected].
