Shmidt Spirits Distillery is proud to celebrate our Mexican heritage and our incredible craft spirits with our annual Dia de los Muertos party! We plan on celebrating the Day of the Dead like only Shmidt Spirits can. This year we're ramping up the fun with games, a costume contest, and delicious food. Founder Arthur Shmidt spent part of his childhood in Tiajuana and Guadalajara, where he cultivated a deep love of both Dia de los Muertos and agua frescas. Every year he brings both of these loves together at our Dia de los Muertos party! Revelers can expect: • Dia de los Muertos Themed Cocktails—Signature craft cocktails made with our jamaica-inspired Agua Hibisco cordial. • Costume Contest—We'll be judging the best costumes of the night and offering up fabulous prizes to those deemed worthy! (Costumes not required.) • Loteria!—The bingo-like game was a massive hit at last year's party, and we are bringing it back! Prepare yourself for raucus fun and delightful prizes. • Ofrenda Room—We turn our vestibule into a whole-room ofrenda, so bring a photo of your loved one and an offering to place on the table. • Calavera Crafts—Make your mark on our decorations with a 'sugar skull' craft you can personalize and hang on our walls.
