Therapy Dog Sound Bath Meditation

What could make a sound bath more relaxing? Therapy dogs. Join us at The Hub for a one-of-a-kind Therapy Dog Sound Bath Meditation led by Jenny Raffield, founder of Choose Happy Wellness. Settle onto your mat, get comfortable, and enjoy an immersive sound bath while cute dogs roam, cuddle, explore, and — if our previous dog events are any indication — occasionally decide that you make an excellent pillow. Sound bath meditation uses resonant instruments such as singing bowls and gongs to create a calming, immersive soundscape designed to help you slow down, unplug, and settle into the moment. Jenny has led multiple sound bath meditations at The Hub, and we’re excited to bring the experience back with one very important addition: puppies. Expect a relaxed, low-pressure experience where you can close your eyes and enjoy the soundscape, pause to interact with a pup who wanders over, or simply soak up the combination of meditation, movement, and therapeutic energy around you. What to expect - A guided sound bath meditation led by Jenny Raffield of Choose Happy Wellness - Cute therapy dogs freely exploring the space throughout the experience - Plenty of opportunities for cuddles and interaction - A calm, welcoming environment designed for beginners and experienced meditators alike - Time after the sound bath to mingle with the therapy dogs and participating organization Who should attend? Anyone who could use a little more calm — and a lot more dogs! No prior meditation experience is needed. You do not need to be a Hub member to attend, and please leave your own dog at home for this event. The pups will be provided by our participating rescue/partner organization. Space is limited to keep the experience comfortable for both the people and dogs, so advance registration is strongly encouraged.
