Fifth Annual Mourning Brunch will take part in Birmingham, AL. K.Co Members and affiliates: Complimentary, as always*K.Co Members are allowed to bring one plus one. If you are a non K.Co Member and was invited, you must request to bring a plus one. Every persons attending must RSVP As always, Mourning Brunch is more than a celebration and a southern meal. It is our annual opportunity for members to come together, reflect on how far we’ve come, share where K.Co is headed over the next 12 months, and explore how each of us can participate in building greater wealth, opportunity, and presence on a global stage. More info to tell, but this is where we can invite everyone else we know. They must purchase a ticket to attend. If you are joining us at a Ralph’s tickets must be purchased. Housing & TravelHousing will be provided for out of town K.Co Members and affiliates if RSVP in advanced. For anyone who prefers a hotel, I recommend staying downtown. We will also have driver service available for transportation from Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport (BHM) to either my home or your hotel. If cost to getting to Birmingham is a problem. I would recommend flying into Atlanta, then taking a shuttle from ATL Airport to Birmingham. It runs on the hour by the hour. Background The Fifth Annual Mourning Brunch is being taken down South—back to where it all began and to the place where the inspiration behind the Brunch was born. With K.Co officially moving its headquarters to Birmingham, Alabama, and preparing to launch our private investment arm, this year’s gathering marks an exciting new chapter. We’re building new ways to connect our community with private investment and startup funding opportunities—creating access for both the investor and the invested. The Fifth Annual Mourning Brunch is a homecoming in every sense of the word—a return to our roots, a celebration of our community, and the beginning of what comes next. We will also will be highlighting three K.Co members doing great things in their own perspective. Welcome home.
