Real Men Wear Pink is a Breast Cancer Awareness Event and all-male Fashion Show Honoring 10+ Victims and Survivors Yearly. Summary Real Men Wear Pink is a Breast Cancer Awareness Event and all-male fashion show founded and organized by Cher Smoot-Johnson. The event honors 10+ breast cancer victims and survivors while encouraging men to join the fight against breast cancer by wearing pink, modeling, supporting survivors, and helping raise awareness. The event was created in memory and support of Pennie Johnson, an assistant at The Walk-In Closet Boutique who battled Stage 4 breast cancer and passed away. Real Men Wear Pink focuses on the importance of mammograms, early detection, education, and community support. On October 11, 2026, Real Men Wear Pink will celebrate its 9th year.
