An Autumn Walk at Wolbach Farm

Take a walk with Boot Boutwell along the trails around Wolbach Farm searching for plants that are still in flower as well as plants that are in fruit. We’ll also look for winter weeds, those hardy herbaceous (non-woody) plants whose skeletons decorate the autumn and winter landscape. And with Halloween just over a week away, we’ll keep our eyes out for witches, ghosts and skeletons. As usual, there will be a good dose of natural history about the plants we see, as well as a poem, or two or three! Children aged 10 and older are welcome if accompanied by an adult. Steady rain cancels. Parking at: 18 Wolbach Road Attendees are asked to read and sign the participation waiver form. Questions about this event?
