Boston Chinatown Photo Walk

Come join us for an afternoon of photography for all levels as we explore the Boston Chinatown neighborhood! We welcome interested, new, and seasoned photographers to bring their cameras and capture this area through their lens while learning about the past, present, and future of this community in a casual setting. Our walking tour will stop at locations monumental to the development of the area as well as locations of historical interest, allowing opportunities for you to capture public art in culturally significant places. There will also be guided prompts and photography tips along the way to help as you snap your photos. As we near the end of the walking portion, we will convene at Mary Soo Hoo Park to discuss what we have learned and share photographs we have captured. There will be an opportunity to have your favorite image you’ve captured during the event printed for a postcard. We also welcome you to choose and submit an image during this time for our group digital photobook. Light snacks and beverages will be provided!
