Hofmann will speak about and sign Finding Our Way Home: Rebuilding Faith and Hope After the Marshall Fire, on Wednesday, December 2nd at 6:30pm, at the Boulder Bookstore. About the Book: Home. It's a universal theme. It's where we find love, security, safety, identity. But home is a slippery subject. It shifts and changes. We leave home. We build a home and start a family. We live in a temporary home. We sell our home and downsize. And we can lose our home through fire and other natural disasters. Finding Our Way Home shares one family's experience of the catastrophic Colorado Marshall Fire of December 30, 2021. It describes their tragic loss, their journey to rebuild their home, and their attempts to find faith and hope amidst the ashes. But more than this, the book explores connections between the tragic loss of a home and the Bible's greater story of God making a home among us. Part memoir, part Bible study, Finding Our Way Home seeks to inspire and educate us in this universal idea of home. _______________ IMPORTANT TICKETING AND EVENT INFORMATION • Tickets are $5 (plus a small processing fee). • A coupon good for $5 off a copy of Finding Our Way Home, or a purchase on the day of the event is included with your ticket.
