Build fundamental skills to make sure you get home safe. Every time. "Prepared, not scared." We all ask "What if...?" And we all know that saying "It will never happen to ME..." is just naive wishful thinking. The bad news is that sometimes people do awful things to each other. The GOOD news is that you can DO something about it! Our series of Self-Defense classes starts here! This is for the person with little or no training to start building a strong foundation set of skills, so YOU can have the peace of mind and empowerment that come from KNOWING that your skills are sharp and ready! We'll cover: • Attacker psychology • Building the self-defense mindset • Avoidance and de-escalation • The three layers of the self-defense shell • Spotting dangerous situations before they start And, of course, • How to make someone stop trying to touch you without permission Real techniques that work under pressure in adverse conditions. So you can get home safe. Every time. Content Warning: It is impossible to address the topic of Self-Defense without acknowledging that humans are occasionally awful. Topics will include violence, assault, predation, harm, death, and may include weaponry, S.A., D.V., and others. Ages 13+ are welcome, but under -18y.o. MUST have a parent/legal guardian present.
