Poetry Bingo for Kids

Kids can play a fun game of Poetry Bingo with former Suffolk County Teen Poet Laureate Sarah Goodman. Poetry Bingo is a fun game where kids can find target words on their bingo cards (and win prizes!) while the organizer reads fun, age-appropriate poetry. This session will be hosted by Sarah Goodman, former Teen Poet Laureate of Suffolk County. Sarah Goodman just completed her term as the second Teen Poet Laureate of Suffolk County. As poet laureate, she organized and ran programming for teens and children at libraries and schools across Suffolk County. She has been published in several anthologies and magazines, and has hosted and featured at various poetry openmics. She has also organized and judged the first and second Suffolk Youth Poetry Competition. She is a senior at Commack High School where she is co-Editor-in-Chief of Etchings Literary and Art Magazine and was previously Editor-in-Chief of Pathways, Commack's freshman literary and art magazine. Goodman also serves on the board of the Northport Arts Coalition as the Teen Ambassador.
