Get up close with Honeybees! With 5 hives on property, Pinelawn’s Master Beekeeper will explain the importance of these marvelous insects. Since this event was postponed, all registrants are now resheduled for the new date of Sunday, October 4th at 12:30pm- if you are unable to make it for this date, please advise! You're invited to a fun and educational day at Pinelawn Memorial Park and Arboretum as we welcome Master Beekeeper Steve Chen for a special event all about honeybees — nature’s tiny superheroes! Pinelawn hosts 5 bee hives on property, housing over 500,000 honey bees that play a vital role in pollinating various gardens, trees and shrubs in our community. Bring the whole family and enjoy: 🌼 A fascinating talk by Master Beekeeper Steve Chen 🐝 A close-up look at real working beehives 🍯 Fun facts about how bees make honey and help flowers grow 🌳 A peaceful walk through our beautiful arboretum 🎨 Bee-themed activities for kids and nature lovers of all ages! 🍯 Fresh Honey Tasting 👑"Find the Queen" children's activity using an observation hive **Fun Patch provided! Check-in begins 30 minutes prior to each scheduled session. Upon check-in, families will be able to participate in the bee craft. By entering the event premises, you consent to such recording media, and its release, publication, exhibition or reproduction.
