A Glorious Fate: The Life and Legacy of Colonel Robert Gould Shaw

The Nau Civil War Center's 2026-27 Crozer Lecture, featuring historian Kevin M. Levin, will take place on Wednesday, September 23, at 5pm. On Wednesday, September 23, historian Kevin M. Levin will deliver our annual Crozer Lecture. He will discuss his forthcoming book, A Glorious Fate: The Life and Legacy of Colonel Robert Gould Shaw. The lecture will begin at 5pm in UVA's Special Collections Library, and it will be free and open to the public. Paid parking is available nearby at the Central Grounds Parking Garage located near the UVA bookstore.
