Wauhatchie School Discovery Day: Reflection Riding

Join us for an open house to learn what forest school is all about! Looking for a holistic approach to education rooted in nature, curiosity, and connection? Come explore what learning looks like in the Wauhatchie woods. You'll meet educators, visit an outdoor classroom, and learn more about the forest school approach. Please select one ticket per family! Wauhatchie School at Reflection Riding offers nature-based education to learners ages 3-11 (preschool through 5th grade). Forest preschool is play-based and child-led, nurturing independence, resilience, self-awareness, empathy, a love of learning, and a deep connection to nature. In our forest K-5 programs, students engage in standards-aligned learning across in Math, Literacy, Social Studies, STEAM, and Art balanced with abundant opportunities for forest exploration. Through emergent, project-based learning and small class sizes, students participate in hands-on, collaborative experiences that honor each child’s curiosity, interests, and individual learning styles. Come discover how children grow, learn, and thrive when nature is their classroom.
