Crikey! A Classic Community Clean-up! Comprende?

We're gonna have some coffee, link up with other trash-hating folks, and get the job done. What, do ya need a diagram or something? COME OUT This clean-up is meant to allow folks to meet some of their fellow trash people and fuel up a bit before hitting the streets. We're meeting at 10:00 AM in front of Same Day Cafe to chit-chat and have coffee and pastries. Come meet new friends and say hey to existing ones! At 10:30 AM we'll get right down to business with a brief intro, supply distribution, safety info, and the gameplan and route details. We'll be out scooping up trash for about an hour or so, and then we'll head back to Same Day and wrap things up! This event is 18+. All equipment is provided. All you have to do is register! What to expect: • Meet us in front of Same Day Cafe at 10:00 AM for coffee and sophisticated banter (lol). If that doesn't appeal, just make sure you arrive NO LATER than 10:30 AM! We aim to stick to a schedule and want to respect the time of all our volunteers! When people show up late, it makes it very hard to accomplish this! • Advanced registration is essential due to the number of interested participants - please don't just show up! • We provide all the materials: gloves, grabbers, bags, buckets, hand sanitzer, etc! Just make sure you dress appropriately and for the weather! • We'll spend about an hour picking up litter before we close out. • Everyone is welcome, and we hope you'll join us, especially if you haven't been before! We are a friendly bunch and exist not only to contribute to our community, but to make new friends within it, too :) If you have any questions, email us at [email protected] What to bring • Please check the weather and bring appropriate clothing/supplies! Consider bringing a water bottle and some sunscreen if it's hot! • Be sure to wear comfortable and weather-appropriate shoes. • No need to bring anything else - we supply all equipment! • If you want to bring a friend, please also have them register via the Eventbrite link so we can plan accordingly - we also need all attendees to acknowledge our waiver. What not to bring • We love pets, but you'll need both hands, and we'll be working near busy streets! We regret dogs aren't allowed to join Trash People events, but you're very welcome to show us pictures :) • We mostly work near busy roads, so for safety reasons, our events are adult-only (18+). • If the event is fully booked, please add yourself to the waitlist or join us for the next one! In order to keep the group manageable for us as organizers, to ensure we have enough supplies, and to ensure all participants have signed our waiver, we require all attendees to have formally RSVPd through Eventbrite.
