A Seat at the Table: HOMECOMING Home isn’t always a place. Sometimes it’s the people, traditions + memories that bring you back to yourself. For our fourth table, we’re celebrating HOMECOMING. Maybe home is the city that raised you. Your alma mater. Your family. Your favorite team. An organization that shaped you. A tradition you refuse to let go of. Or maybe home is simply a person who makes anywhere feel familiar. This October, we’re bringing all of it to the table. A Seat at the Table is Kinnected Collective’s intimate supper club experience, created in partnership with our culinary partner @staysoulfed, bringing people together over good food, intentional conversation + experiences designed to help you leave knowing someone you didn’t know when you arrived. THE EXPERIENCE We’re putting our own spin on a homecoming tradition with a make-your-own pennant experience led by The Black Lit Bookfair (@black_lit_bookfair). You’ll create a pennant representing what home means to you using letters, patches, pins + more. Rep your hometown, your school, your family, your people, your culture or whatever brings you home. And because sometimes home is a person, The Black Lit Bookfair is bringing a piece of their LOVE LETTERS ONLY experience to the table. LOVE LETTERS ONLY is rooted in gathering to express and create love through letters, cards + art for ourselves, friends, lovers, family, ancestors and community. During HOMECOMING, you’ll have the opportunity to write a letter to yourself or someone who feels like home to you. A little creativity. A little nostalgia. A little love. Jerseys, school colors, hometown gear, vintage tees...make it yours. There’s no wrong way to rep home. REGISTRATION + DIETARY ACCOMMODATIONS Registration closes October 15 at 9 PM or when all 16 seats are filled. Dietary accommodations may be available with advance notice.
