Take a peaceful pause before the holiday gathering with an immersive sound bath centered on gratitude, reflection, and the people and moment Thanksgiving can be meaningful and joyful, but it can also bring a rush of responsibilities, complicated emotions, and little time to slow down. Gratitude, Rest & Reflection offers a peaceful pause before the holiday—a chance to step away from the noise and reconnect with yourself. The experience begins with a gentle guided reflection centered on gratitude, followed by an immersive sound bath featuring singing bowls, gongs, chimes, crystal harp, and other therapeutic instruments. As layers of sound move through the room, you’ll be invited to rest, quiet the mind, and release some of the stress you may be carrying. This gathering is not about forcing positivity or overlooking difficult feelings. It is an opportunity to acknowledge what this season holds while making space for appreciation, presence, and rest. No previous meditation or sound bath experience is needed. WHAT TO BRING: To help us care for our premium floor cushions, we ask that you please bring one sheet to cover your mat and one blanket to stay warm during the sound bath. You’re also welcome to bring a pillow for extra comfort. This helps us maintain a clean, cozy space for everyone. No yoga mat needed! Come dressed comfortably, bring water, and eat beforehand. A sound bath is a meditative experience where people are "bathed" in sound waves produced by various overtone-emitting instruments, including singing bowls, gongs, chimes, and more. During a sound bath, people lie down and listen to resonant sounds, allowing their brain waves to slow and shift from a more active state to a more relaxed or dreamlike state. The goal of the experience is to invite deep rest and relaxation, explore self-inquiry and self-discovery, and help people let go of stress, anxiety, or other worries. A sound bath is typically a way of managing anxiety, soothing the nervous system, and blocking all the ideas and thoughts out of your consciousness as you connect with your body. Our sound baths may include the following instruments: over 70 Crystal Singing Bowls & Tibetan Singing Bowls (including 5 sets of Chakra Tuned Singing Bowls), Crystal Quartzophone Harp, Zaphir Chimes, Bar Chimes, Flutes, Rain Stick, Buffalo Drum, Ocean Drum, Steel Tongue Drum, Handpans, Kalimba, Tingshas and other traditional instruments from around the world. MEDICAL NOTICE, PLEASE READ: If you have any serious medical condition (i.e. metal in the body/brain injury, tinnitus, epilepsy, metal in the body, etc...) make sure you get written permission from your doctor allowing your attendance of a live sound bath.
