LET THE LIGHT IN: World Premiere of New Films

Join us in person for the World Premiere of inspiring new films by the Youth Documentary Academy! LOCALLY PRODUCED. NATIONALLY ACCLAIMED. Don't miss the 13th World Premiere of new films from the Youth Documentary Academy (YDA) presented at Colorado College. Come see the first-ever screenings of brand new films created by talented young filmmakers at this red carpet event. Eleven new bold works of art that will inspire, illuminate and surprise. This year’s class presents films that shine light into the darker corners, where healing can begin. Topics range from immigration to intimate partner violence, from soccer to suicide prevention, and much more! Join our host and moderator, Ashley Cornelius, as she introduces us to the next generation of filmmakers in the Pikes Peak region. Meet our filmmakers in person and experience courageous storytelling that is as diverse as the artists who made them. Convene in the lobby for our annual Connections Corridor where 20+ non-profits, media organizations and colleges will share valuable community resources and networking opportunities.
