Spirits & Soundscapes: Halloween Sound Bath & Cacao Ceremony

Something sweet, spooky, and deeply soothing is brewing… The spirits have requested a sound bath. Who are we to say no? Join Singing Bowls of the Rockies for a delightfully eerie evening of big, beautiful vibrations, cozy fall magic, and absolutely zero haunted-house jump scares. Come relax in a spellbound soundscape of crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, gongs, chimes, flutes, drums, and other instruments designed to help your mind quiet down and your body release the week’s lingering goblins. Our immersive 90-minute sound bath is a chance to lie back, get cozy, and let the sounds do their mysterious little thing. You may drift, dream, feel deeply relaxed, or wonder whether that gong just opened a portal! All experiences are welcome. Once we’ve floated back down to earth, we’ll close with warm ceremonial cacao, an opportunity to sip, reflect, connect, and leave with your heart a little fuller (and hopefully not possessed). Costumes are welcomed, however we do recommend arriving in comfortable attire. Come for the spooky season vibes; stay for the deep exhale. WHAT IS A SOUND BATH? A sound bath is a meditative experience where people are "bathed" in sound waves produced by various overtone-emitting instruments, including singing bowls, gongs, chimes, and more. During a sound bath, people lie down and listen to resonant sounds, allowing their brain waves to slow and shift from a more active state to a more relaxed or dreamlike state. The goal of the experience is to invite deep rest and relaxation, explore self-inquiry and self-discovery, and help people let go of stress, anxiety, or other worries. A sound bath is typically a way of managing anxiety, soothing the nervous system, and blocking all the ideas and thoughts out of your consciousness as you connect with your body. Our sound baths may include the following instruments: over 70 Crystal Singing Bowls & Tibetan Singing Bowls (including 5 sets of Chakra Tuned Singing Bowls), Crystal Quartzophone Harp, Zaphir Chimes, Bar Chimes, Flutes, Rain Stick, Buffalo Drum, Ocean Drum, Steel Tongue Drum, Handpans, Kalimba, Tingshas and other traditional instruments from around the world. WHAT TO BRING: To help us care for our premium floor cushions, we ask that you please bring one sheet to cover your mat and one blanket to stay warm during the sound bath. You’re also welcome to bring a pillow for extra comfort. This helps us maintain a clean, cozy space for everyone. No yoga mat needed! Come dressed comfortably, bring water, and eat beforehand.
