Healing Hearts Grief Program

The Healing Hearts Grief Program helps children ages 5–18 process the loss of a loved one. The Healing Hearts Grief Program helps children ages 5–18 process the loss of a loved one. Our program is designed to help children connect with peers and express emotions through therapeutic activities as they navigate the grief process. Registering for this event enrolls you into 4 sessions. Each session focuses on a different topic: Emotions, memories, coping skills and changes. Each session builds upon the last providing a comprehensive framework for grief processing. In conjunction with our children's sessions, we offer a parent/caregiver program. The adult session will mirror the topics covered in the children's program. We strongly encourage parents/caregivers to attend all four sessions to enhance communication and increase the family’s understanding of the grief process.
