This event will introduce attendees to the role of health policy and advocacy in shaping healthcare and public health. Attendees will learn about current health policy issues through Gamecocks UAEM and gain practical knowledge through a hands-on Narcan training, including how to recognize an opioid overdose and properly administer Narcan. Why Attend? Whether you're interested in healthcare, public health, advocacy, or simply want to learn skills that could help you respond in an emergency, this event provides an opportunity to understand how policy impacts communities while gaining a practical, potentially lifesaving skill.
