Authentic Connection in the Transgender and Gender- Diverse Community

Explore affirming, meaningful relationships in this interactive workshop for trans and gender-diverse people. This 90-minute workshop invites members of the transgender and gender-diverse community to explore the values and skills that foster healthy, affirming, and meaningful relationships. Together, participants will reflect on what matters most in their connections with others, with a focus on authentic communication, personal values, and emotional safety. The workshop will explore relationship dynamics and experiences that are particularly relevant to trans people including identity affirmation, navigating vulnerability, minority stress, chosen family, and building connections with partners, friends, and family members. Through guided discussion, personal reflection, and skill-building exercises, participants will develop strategies for communicating needs, expressing values, and fostering greater connection. We are looking forward to working with you, Francesca, Alicia, and Amanda
